Ignorance! “I don’t know what I’m talking about.”
Often, my qualification for writing about my topics (public affairs, national security, politics, history, concern for my country, writers, books, music, and life as it comes along), is that “I don’t know what I’m talking about.” I seek to understand these issues for myself and serious amateurs like me.
I write from the perspective of “interested citizen” rather than expert, an interested party to my times. Clarifications, answers to questions, responses to my best thinking from people knowledgeable and experienced about my topics, all in enough detail to grasp both basic and evolving issues as understood by those having greater knowledge or experience would be measures of success.
Did I mention the best thing that has happened to me lately and a sometime source for the blog, especially a source of photos? I am now a grandfather!
Here is Frances Siga Makalou with her “Grandpa Georgie.”
